The Mere Mortals .NET Framework
Ok, a bit of followup:
The problem is apparent in the child object's SaveEntityList() method, called from the parent object's SaveChildBusinessObjects() method. The property of the entity is zeroed out! It wasn't like that before, but something is zeroing it out.
Is there a way in .NET to have a "Break when value changes" like we do in VFP?
Related question, what would be the ramifications of having this business object use Entity Framework, where the others are not?

>it actually blanks out the numIndId field to zero, and also another field that I had set. I cannot figure out why this is happening! I'm a bit dizzy with all the deep diving into the code to see where it's happening, so I can't quite pin that down right now but it seems to be fine in the dataset up until the checkRules() method is called. Is there anything I'm obviously doing wrong?
