Sorry about the shooting. Yeah, little round metal things poking holes in flesh is never a good thing for the owner of the flesh.

(Just realized my post would have made more sense if I had referred to the TV show bu the correct name - Memphis Beat ) What do you think of the show? Do they film it in Memphis? ( that rib-cookoff looked really good ! ) Seems like they are at least being respectful of the city.

>No, but I should be! lol I'm not cranky, just tired of all this "stuff" My son in law got shot in the arm last month, but it wasn't a serious wound (easy to say when you aren't the one who got shot).

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
