Hi Vlad, et al -- Have you experimented with the hourglass in vfp6? From my tests, it automatically comes on when any application processing takes more than a second or so, and automatically restores (of course) when processing is completed...It looks like a fairly significant improvement in vfp I haven't seen mentioned anywhere...
