Yes, a few comes to mind. Like phDbase and vfpskin or whatever it was called. Although people used these products, the people behind them simply vanished.

>As long as I am on a roll . . . . . How about companies that make a product, sell 'em, then the develeper goes away, and they do not even have the courtesy to keep alive their website that had d/l's and info. One thing to abandon a product, but how about all the people that paid you? Is $3 a month hosting too much to ask?

>>Sounds like it. I hope that my cynicism is just my old age showing through, and that just this one time, somebody trumpeting a new VFP-to-Whatever product is talking about something more than vaporware or hobby-ware.
>>
>>I guess since I said that I should point out that as I look over the last 5-10 years, there have been people who DID deliver exactly what they promised. Active Foxpro Pages and VFP2IIS come to mind as products that were advertised as doing something cool with VFP and did exactly what they promised when they promised it. ARG's Command Bars is another.

The idea of what you are asking is suspicious in itself; it seems like the product is not done and you are somehow trying to see how much people wpuld pay so you can finish it.
>>>>>>
