In my opinion, Citrix is a bandaid to be applied to projects that were not designed as C/S in the first place. All be it, a great band aid.

We have used it for FP 2.6 and as long as the connection was decent, (read NOT a 9600 bps modem) the performance was ok. Much better than letting FP connect over the wan.

If you are starting a NEW project, I would design it to be C/S, perhaps with a web server aspect if you have alot of remote users.
