For a langauge to mature, some succesful apps need to be deployed. I have not seen any case studies yet that showcase successful Java implementations. Of course, if I had to pick a Java environment, it most likely would be J++. Unfortunately, the J++ VCM is pretty slow. But, in time, my guess is that issue will be rectified. Of course, we will need to see how this lawsuit plays out...
