The final ruling on Green’s innocence will be made by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals so in the meantime he's out on bond.

The "Post Conviction Review Section" of the Harris County District Attorney's Office is a good idea and its the second time within a week that they're work has led to the release of an inmate after developing evidence of a wrongful conviction. A lot of people were against creating this group, but as you can see they're obviously needed. Interestingly this guy was up for parole in October. Another sad part about all this is that the creep(s) who actually did the crime are now going to get away with it as the statue of limitations has run out.
