That system is being developed under directives/dictate of the EU. Reading few laws that may have concerned me recently, I found that even the terminology has changed completely, the old clarity is gone and it's becoming vague, verbose and contains about 20 times more text than the old one. I think I've even caught a few errors in translation.

So like any other colony, it's good to stay on good terms with the masters :). And since the population wants to be colonized, I don't feel that going against the popular will is a prosperous option, so I'll rather stay out of local politics completely. It does have an entertainment value, though.
