FoxPro has been mentioned more than once and by more than one person in relation to LightSwitch. But, it's more about rapid development and providing tools to business people than it is about data. Under the hood, LightSwitch uses Entity Framework. It's easy to hook up an application to pull data from SQL Server, SQL Azure, and Sharepoint, and to link that data together. It's all C# or VB under the hood and easy to enhance/extend. It is not wizards.

>Fair enough, but that's what you may have observed as an MVP. To the average VFP user like myself, he was invisible and when he had anything to say in his "monthly" newsletter posted on the VFP page, it was already old.

>Anyway, I'm looking forward to see what develops with this "Kittyhawk" thing. We "novice" programmers need all the help we can get when jumping into Dot Net. What could a VFP developer possibly know about data?
