>Newt is certainly a stronger candidate than Palin or Romney. There's certainly hope of a Newt/Romney ticket. Newt was honest enough to rip the Bush era for its contributions to the mortgage/economic crisis, and I think he'll be tougher on Islamic militants than anyone else (e.g., ripping Obama and the left for trying to take a "modern" criminal justice attitude, and advocating a federal law that no U.S. court should ever consider Sharia as a replacement for American law).

That's a pita. If he were to become prez, the left wing press would have a field day, but I think Newt wouldn't care about the press. On another note, I caught a story about Obama on one of the TV channels. The reporter was lamenting the troubles of the Obama presidency by mentioning that Obama had good intentions and then the oil well blowout came along and upset the President's plans. Of course there was not one mention of President Bush and his plans to revise the school systems etc. etc. and then, along came those darned islamic terrortists who ruined the plans Bush had for the nation.
I ain't skeert of nuttin eh?
Yikes! What was that?
