I am home sick today and need a diversion other than temptation.

Kevin Goff, all is forgiven. I swore I would never speak with you again but anger is a killer. I was disappointed that you wanted me banned after I asked for your reinstatement several times when you were on the outs yourself. But it's over, and I definitely should not have made the comment that got me banned. I have always enjoyed chatting about sports with you and greatly respect your knowledge of SQL Server and C#. Which I have continued to use and study, BTW.

My work contract was extended through the end of the month. There is a chance it will be extended again but that's not for sure. The company is not doing well, has a hiring and salary freeze, and laid off 10% of the staff at the end of last month. If I stay on it will be as a contractor.

Allie heads off for UW-Milwaukee at the end of the month. Emily begins her senior year of high school on Monday and volleyball season tomorrow. She played well in some regional tournaments this summer and will be the captain of the team. OK, enough bragging about my kids, lol.

What have I missed? I heard from a few members during the hiatus and they said same old same old, political and cultural bickering. I will try to avoid that.
