I have had two bicycles for some time now. The ancient one, unused in a long time, is one of those old 10 speeds with skinny tires. I was riding the more modern 12 speed mountain bike pretty heavily a few years ago and overdid it with 100 mph weeks and 50 mile rides in the fall. I burned out on it for a while but have taken it out for a few rides of 5 miles or so this summer.
