Arnold,
If host supported OLE automation then you could just call thisform.oleboundcontrol.object.saveas(). First of all in your system are jpg files associated with an app ? To try it in windows explorer dblclick a jpg file. If no problem occurs there and file opens, procedure is same for VFP. It might be possible you have no server registered for .jpg files. If so, there are many jpeg viewers on internet.
