All 3 major US indicies are under tremendous downward pressure. The DOW managed to break above the 100sma and is fighting to hold. Both the S&P and the NASDAQ are failing their tests. With earnings season closing, high commodity prices, a falling dollar, high unemployment and generally zero good economic news now nor on the horizon, I'm convinced that we're heading back down for another test. That's not to suggest some catalyst won't arise, but I see danger. 50% cash.

The really good news is that the "pandemic" never existed. Just like bird flu, SARS & west nile. Hopefully, when the real thing comes along we will still have a smidgen of trust for those who traffic in panic.

What I do know is that I'm not going to miss the opportunity for a quick trade next time. ;)
