Things have changed now. If you're testing for a grid's recordsource then check its "recordsource". Alias() might not be thrustable always there + do not forget that a grid might change its recordsource on the fly (at least to preserve formatting grid.recordsource = "" and then back to cOrgTable is a widely used trick).
