Maybe just a little support. Although I am no longer very active here, the UT used to be my second home. I learned a lot from others, and also did my share of mentoring with the Mere Mortals framework for FoxPro. I still come here for help with C#. I am a newbie in that language, but I am catching on quickly and am beginning to really enjoy it.

By the way, I show what is necessary; the rest is just narrative. I hired one of the top editors in the country, Susan Mary Malone, to edit my manuscript. She is expensive, brilliant, thorough, and brutally honest. We worked together for months on the manuscript until she told me congratulations, you nailed it, now go celebrate. Her seal of approval carries a lot of weight with most New York editors. More than 40 of her books that she has edited have found a home with traditional publishers. I learned more about good writing working wih her than I did in all my years working as a professional journallist.

>Not sure what you're expecting from a bunch of busy Philistines here on the UT ;)

>Congratulations on your success so far!

>I'm glad writing the book has been a catharsis for you.

>My only comment on the style would be that you tend to tell rather than show but with a memoir I suppose you're entitled to some leeway ;)
