>>I know this sounds like a no-brainer, but when I run my vfp 5 job on my c-drive everthing opens fine, but when I run the same job from my Novell 4.11 server, I get too many files open. I am using the latest Client/32 from Novell 2.5.0.0. I used to run this application fine when part of the files were opened in one data session (about 30 tables) and part (about 60 tables) were opened in another data session. Since some overlapped and the forms were always used together, I put all the files in the private data session for the first form and set the child form to use the default data session. I thought I was helping my file handles situation, but now I can't even run the thing. More info...also tried on a Novell 4.10 server...also tried with Microsoft's Client...I've set my Novell:Max. File locks per connection as high as possible...I don't have a share stmt...I have tried w & w/o config.sys files=255. (Thanks for reading this whole thing...)

Cetin,
Thanks for your help, but I believe Novell dropped the .cfg files with the advent of Client/32.
