Pleased? He has a point: you can choose that a smiling Walmart greeter barely impinges on your day, but you cannot choose to insulate yourself from bankers' chicanery that actually threatened your whole economy unless the government (taxpayer) injected vast amounts of welfare. Not sure whether you saw my quantity posts on this topic, but the banking welfare payouts per month exceeded the entire US expenditure on aircraft carriers since the navy was created and made the "other" welfare payouts of which people like to complain look like chump change.
Now if I want to be pleased, I prefer something like this:
