>If we have an EXE sitting somewhere as a Service. Would there be a possiblity to have it auto update in patch mode? We have looked at this from several perspectives. One approach was to have a secondary EXE to monitor if an update is required on our main module, download, stop it, update EXE and restart the service. Is this a conventional way of doing this? The ideal would be to have only the EXE itself and being able to use an auto update in patch mode.

Isn't this something Application Updater Application Block would do?
