>Could you think of any reason why one XP SP3 workstation would honor the transparency while another XP SP3 machine does not? Would it be differences in GDI+ libs?

The first obvious idea - did you compare gdi *.dll files on both computers?

>>Somewhere along the line (Calvin had a blog entry on it), VFP started using GDIPlus for image display. It is therefore entirely dependent on what the OS does.

>>>Interestingly enough, it does work for me. However, the original issue of using the image control to get VFP to honor transparency for PNGs on command buttons is still a bit of a puzzle. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to why the images show up transparent on some workstations and not transparent on others. The two operating systems in question are XP and Windows 7.
