I need to copy many directories to a new server, while keeping the original copies.

Using Windows copy/paste runs into a problem if any file cannot be copied, because the whole process is interrupted. Why some files cannot be copied (or deleted) I don;t know, but this happens with an annoying frequency. I normally solve these cases using unlocker.exe, but that is impractical when the process is copying tens of thousands of files in one go. There are no other users in the network.

I am looking for a robust utility to do the equivalent to windows copy/paste without interruptions. If a file cannot be copied, I would like to utility make a notification and continue the copy process.

Does someone have a suggestion?
