But this lady has no vision or brainpower at all. They say she is a serious contender to be the Republican candidate in 2012. As a Democrat, I fervently hope so ;-)

Never underestimate the power of the Democratic party to self-destruct. Obama will be challenged from the Left, the party will split and he'll lose. Jimmy Carter , 1980 ( though I'm not sure how the GOP is going to come up with another Reagan. ) Remember, this is the party that nominated Mike Dukakis and then somehow lost (don't even want to hear about hanging chads - it should never have even been close) with Al Gore in 2000.

Unless the DOW is over 15000 in summer of 2012 he's toast. ( and I think Hillary would have been looking at a second term.)

Charles Hankey

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
