Well, by "works for me", what I mean is that as soon as I type "loEventLog.nType = " then Intellisense will automatically show "EventLogEntryType" for me to choose and all I have to do is hit the "." to get the enum values to choose. I'm not sure why VB would be any different, but perhaps it is? Works this way both in VS2010 and VS2008.

This is what I see. As shown in the attached file.

As you can see, I am prompted with a bunch of generic methods and properties. So, I guess VB.NET is different. That is why I asked because I assumed to obtain that automatically.
