I wouldn't expect signifigant improvement in VFP 6.0. It still uses bitmaps instead of real Windows controls making screen updates much smaller. I ran into another problem with Metaframe. Using a certain protocol (I can't remember what it's called, but it's not available with just Terminal Server) VFP had trouble processing double clicks. If the clicks were too close together the second one would get lost. This didn't happen with other Windows apps.

I think you'll just have to test it to see if your apps are fast enough over whatever connection you're using. My problems were over a fairly slow trans-atlantic leased line.
