He went on to win further Cy Young awards with the Blue Jays and Yankees. I believe they were untainted as well. He was probably the best pitcher in history and ruined his own reputation. Mysterious. His competitiveness was legendary and maybe he just couldn't let go. Like another Texan, Nolan Ryan, he would drill you in the a*s before letting you get a hit off him. Kind of a rockhead but the man could pitch.
