We are writing an application in VFP5 and we have the database and it's tables on a network drive. I have a couple of people who are testing the application for me with an executable file on their local drive and using the data on the network drive. When I (the only developer) try to BUILD APP app_name FROM app_name, I get a File Access Denied error. The status bar looks as if VFP is trying to open my Database.dbc exclusively. As soon as I have my testers quit there programs, I am then able to build my app.

It is nessassary for us to share the data on the network if at all possible. But when I am trying to constantly build apps, it is driving us crazy. Anybody know about this or has a solution?

Thanks in advance.

Bill
