Another option to think about (if Dotnet is a coming target for that customer) to use a Dotnet-library via one of the not-so-few Dotnet integration tools for vfp (Rick's library, Dotnet extender, MS wrapping to name some) - get the integration and Dotnet base installs well integrated into rollout and from then on goodby activeX problems [hello Dotnet integration problems ?<g>]
