Because I haven't been programming long enough to learn to read the documentation.

Your suggestion is exactly what I am looking for.

Reminds me of when I look for stuff in the frig. First guess is that it's probably in the back, so I push the stuff in front out of the way ... not noticing that it's right in front of my nose, and I moved it out of the way.
