Mike Campbell is a seriously underappreciated guitarist. He should be considered right up there with guys like James Burton, guys like that.
You may not James Burton by name, although John Harvey probably does. He played guitar for Elvis Presley, Gram Parsons, and Roy Orbison -- not a bad resume. I couldn't find the song I was looking for but found this one. It's like a rock and roll hall of fame. It was a tribute for so many musicians in their own right to play with him.
