Yes, I understand. I was just saying, it wouldn't have worked until you set AutoEventWireup = true. I have tested this, but you are welcome to try that. Change it back to false and see if the load event still fires. Also, you should be able to clear the cache or cause a refresh without re-booting. I had this issue once awhile back and I changed some setting so it wouldn't be an issue but don't remember what it was.
