Jeff, I have been reading your comments about FoxPro and I find your
analysis and conclusions extremely perceptive.
I sent a message to Robert Green, and he being a gentleman, did respond
to me; however, he is either in no position at MS to change the direction
VFP is going (read "eradicate") or he is in an extreme case of denial.
Bill Gates obviously used the acquisition of FoxPro from Fulton to
simply acquire a customer base and now is redirecting the developers
to "his vision" of VB. Well, I am now looking at Clarion, and once again
going back to PowerBuilder. I think Bill Gates should now and forever
be referred to as "James Taggart" from the Ayn Rand book "Atlas Shrugged".
