>Y'know, I really miss Halladay. It's great to see him doing so well with/for the Phillies, but the guy really belongs in Toronto. I think you should send him back.

>He has gotten better as the season has gone on. His work ethic is amazing. Chooch Ruiz (Phillies starting catcher) says that Doc's cutter is the best in baseball. Halladay is the best pitcher to wear a Philly uniform since Lefty. (Schilling was great, but played on some bad Philly teams)
Yeah. how often do you see a pitcher in the kind of condition Halladay is in. The man earns everything he gets.

>With Halladay, Hamels, and Oswalt (who is looking good right now) as the Philly 1-2-3 pitchers, Philly is going to do some major damage if they make the playoffs. They're finally getting healthy, after a season marred by one bad injury after another.
Right now, my bet is they'll make it. Two games up in the wildcard even if Atlanta keeps playing well. I'd really love to see Halladay finally get a chance in the playoffs. Best pitcher never to have pitched in a playoff game I've ever seen.
