We distribute an accounting application. Some customers want to have a test-environment where they can practice and try out financial changes in there bookkeeping. When they work in there test-environment the date in that environment/dossier must be set to a date in the future to not interfer with the current available data.
That's why... nothing illegal about it... :-)
