I had the feeling that we could exactly exchange roles - I could have put the same smiley in self-irony. We can speak of good programming techniques, good strategies, design patterns, and yet catch ourselves doing things in rush, violating our own rules and paying dearly later. Va bien, c'est la vie...

Objective view is like a mathemathical pendulum - everyone knows it doesn't exist, and everyone thinks he knows all about it. Subjective is the only one that exists.

I usually take disputes like this as beneficial to my own views. Even if I don't use the things I hear this way, they are remembered somewhere and reemerge when needed. That's what they exist for, isn't it?
