>> A third of Americans believe, incorrectly, that Obama himself is Muslim.
>>
>>It's one in five. <s>
>>
>>He never said one word about "being a Christian" under he started to run for president - there are many who believe he did this for political expediency.
>>
>>The Egyptian Foreign Minister (Ahmed Aboul Gheit ) said last summer that Obama admitted to him that he (Obama) was still a Muslim
>>
>>There's nothing wrong with being a Muslim, per se - there is something wrong with not being truthful about it. I'm an atheist - I've been an athiest since I was 5 years old - you can't get more "dangerous" than admitting that. It takes stones to admit it.
>
>I am still steamed about this post. The Egyptian Foreign Minister can say whatever he likes, if he even said it. It doesn't make it true. Not exactly a disinterested party.
>
>No, I do not have evidence to the contrary. But I think this "news" is 100% unadulterated BS. This is exactly what I meant about nonsense flying around the internet.
>
>And now you want us to believe you decided you were an atheist at the age of 5. That takes self aggrandizement to a new level.

I knew what my core beliefs were at age 5. I was not an atheist, but I certainly already knew what I believed to be true about God, spirituality, and much much more.
