When the Eagles' new stadium was about to open, they floated the idea of not allowing outside food and drink. The city went nuts and they rescinded it, so you can go to an Eagles game and pay for just tickets and your choice of parking or public transit.

We go to enough Phillies game (nearly one per home series) that buying food at the ballpark is out of the question, both for financial and health reasons. We bring sandwiches and cold drinks and homemade popcorn.

The folks sitting behind us last night got two bears and a soda and it was $17+. I heard one of the kids with them asking why it was nearly $20 for three drinks.
