You ALWAYS have the freedom to choose any action.

You can choose to walk up to a cop and smash him over the head with a baseball bat.
You can choose to go to the local bank, pull out a gun, and take all the money there.
You can choose to ............. etc.

What you don't have is the right to make those choices without consequences.

What you want concerning abortion is not the right to choose, but the right to choose without consequences (that is, legal consequences). That's not being pro-choice. That's being pro-legal-abortion.

Please note: This has nothing to do with the merits of abortion being legal or not. It has to do with the semantics of couching "I favor legal abortions" as "i'm pro choice"
