I thought the announcement of the meeting was really, really badly written. It's as simple as that. I could have kept my mouth shut, which probably would have been the wiser move, Things have been bearing down on me lately like bricks and maybe I took it out on that message. People who think they are so darned smart don't always write well. And I thought that was one of the points of going to college.

I see. Now it's perfectly clear. Here's a summary:

1) You thought it was badly written. Not just badly written, but REALLY REALLY badly written.

2) When asked why, you state that things are bearing down and you took out your frustration on it. You re-assert it's as plain as day that the announcement is poorly written.

3) People who are smart don't write well. The people who drafted the announcement are smart.

4) Therefore, the announcement was badly written. Becuase, after all, the people who wrote it think they're smart.....

Thanks for clearing that up.

By the way, your motivations are quite clear.
