A while back Micheal created this chatter section for us because of the complaints about news vs noise.

I of course understand 'thread-drift' - but perhaps once a thread had drifted out of it's topic into something that should be here in chatter we could just start a new thread in this section & post a link to it?

Really this is getting to the point it's utterly ridiculous. A week or so ago I introduced a friend of mine to this forum and after lurking around for a few days he told me that this place is "nothing but a bunch of self-absorbed people more interested in arguing with each other than anything else" - then sat me down and showed me why he was saying that. Quite frankly now I wish I'd never even mentioned the UT to the guy.
