Do you think it is worth the trouble to research this?
  • For the end-user, only a grid offers enough flexibility.
  • For the programmer, a BROWSE NORMAL is usually appropriate - without the NORMAL clause, the BROWSE window will take on the attributes of any existing background window, which sometimes looks ugly; also, it may "remember too much" about a previous BROWSE session.
