Hey Alex,

Do you literally mean Browse windows or do you mean grids? Boy, that is really going back. There were ways to do it, sort of, but it was really ugly stuff. Browse windows were intended to be developers' little helpers, not production controls. But I guess we all know the law of unintended consequences.

It's not like it got tremendously better in VFP. The ever erudite Jim Booth described grids as "the devil's own control." If you added up the cumulative effort among all of us in trying to control grids it would probably be enough energy to eradicate world hunger. Marcia Akins alone is probably going to die 5 years sooner ;-)
