ok i have it installed (sql server 2008 developer edition) and created a connection (32bit).
I bought sql server 2008 for dummies (my first payed for ebook:-)

problem 1
but the upsizing wizard does not work (neiher the vfp on notr the one from vfpx)
it throws an error 1561in remotizename (0); database is invalid. please validate
vfp validated it with recover and it is VALID

problem 2
i tried to create the tables in SSMS and it is very particular. when I want to change something it does no let me save the chages it wants me to delete and recreate the schema. Is that normal behaviour?
