>TBH I tend to work by referencing the project rather than the DLL but threatening to slap my own wrist never seems to carry much weight. But if the referenced assemblies are meant to be stable it does seem cleaner to just reference the DLL itself - less distraction. And I don't really recall any difficulties doing it that way....I don't recall exactly what the problems were anymore ... I haven't worked for that company for a year now and I've (thankfully) forgotten about a lot of the trials and tribulations involved in working there. Don't get me started ... <g>
