I'm guessing that's somwhere between 2,500 and 3,000 units. Which means that each unit got raffled off at roughly $25 a unit. Beyond a modest single dinner or a carton of really cheap smokes, what the hell can someone do with $25? (rhetorical question, not posed for you directly)
What's really sad about this is that one of the many reasons we got involved with Iraq in the first place was because of the massive amounts of foreigh aid that got confiscated by Saddam. This is more of an isolated case, but still a black eye.
