>I have a problem with my application and i don't understand where is the cause. I have installed my vfp exe and its data on a Windows Server 2008 x64 server and i work in terminal server mode. I have installed one HP Laserjet P2014 printer connected on the LPT1 port of the server. From Word, Excel Notepad i can print without problems. From my app i execute all my reports without problems. Sometimes, without particular events i can't print from my app. I use Crystal Report 9 for my reports, but the problem is before because if i execute my app and i run"=Getprinter() function i receive a "printer not ready" error and when from Crystal Report i open the printer dialog window i have no printers installed and i have a window with all fields disabeld and the check option "no printers" checked. But from other application (Word, Excel, etc) i can print. If i stop "Spooler " service nothing changes. At the begininning y printer was connected to a printer server but i had the same problem so i connected directly to the server to see if the problem was the printer server. I changed the driver that the printer use to see if this was the cause (now i use an Hp Laserjet 4P driver). At the moment i have no ideas. Someone can tell me something ? At the moment the only idea is to put Windows Server 2008 in the box and to go back to Windows Server 2003, but i'll wait if someone can give me some suggest ?

Have you found a workaround for this problem?
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
