Too little too late IMO, I needed a date datatype about 10 years ago. Now I simply work arround the issue by using views and cursoradapters and force them into Dates explicitely. Having read the problems with ADO, I decided not to bother with it. I'm confortable with the limitations of ODBC, but not with those of ADO
