It is not absurd, becuase when you add a record to a table with a date field, unless you have a default value the date initialzes to EMPTY.. which this control can not seem to handel, neither does it seem to accept a null.

Please report this to VFP support... we have already, but the more reports the more seriously they will take it.

BTW: We could not set MinDate to blank at design or run time either.
