Whatever his faults may be I think the "I won" thing has just been overblown as a political barb.

I know you're not an Obama fan, but here's more about his level of arrogance - and how far he's willing to go to deceive the American people.

I just finished reading the transcript from last night's Obama speech....even when you put aside his attempts to take credit for his predecessor's actions, here's yet another lie to the American people.

"Unfortunately, over the last decade, we have not done what is necessary to shore up the foundation of our own prosperity. We have spent over a trillion dollars at war, often financed by borrowing from overseas. This, in turn, has short-changed investments in our own people, and contributed to record deficits".

This is blantantly dishonest. The Congressional Budget Office calculates the total cost of the Iraq War at $709 billion over several years - which is LESS than Obama's failed stimulus bill. So it's more accurate to say that Obama spent more and added more to the deficit in his first few weeks than Bush did during the entire war.
