I am getting the snot knocked out of me over this. I never said or implied "smarter than her is." If I was grammatically incorrect then I profoundly apologize. I still have an opinion about which way of putting it sounds better. "Smarter than she" sounds like a correction an 80 year old Englishwoman would make.
