One other thing I thought of - could it be related to the printer driver? Do you have Printer's info saved with your reports? Can you create a generic text driver, set it as default printer and test?

As for how to test GDI+ - I may try to get the latest gdiplus.dll from the VFP install directory, place it in the same directory as my application and re-test.

Also, is preview slow in exe or in the development environment as well?
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
